A Male Monarch Butterfly

at the Santee Delta WMA.

The male Monarch is distinguished by two black scent patches (circled) on its hindwings that give forth an odor which attracts female Monarchs.

Old Building

This old building is located on route 378 near Turbeville, SC. The photo won first prize in the intermediate level at the Myrtle Beach Camera Club.
